I saw this movie in May, and it really stayed with me. Making the vid definitely helped me process it. This is another vid I cranked out in just a couple of days, although I kept changing things here and there until the deadline came up. I figured it would be a nice contrast to my other premiere - draw everyone in with a fun MCU vid and then gut punch them with this (it was originally supposed to be my second premiere, until I made I'm Gonna Win and it had to be moved to the Ignite show - thankfully there just happened to be people on fire at the end, so it fit. Also, might have been kind of a dick move to put it in the Premieres show in the first place, I will admit.)

I can't talk about this vid without sharing the story of the absolute wildest shit that has ever happened to me while vidding: You might have noticed that I added the tongue clicking sound in one of the clips. Now, the thing is that at that exact moment, there is actually a sort of clicky sound in the song itself. It's not very loud, and it occurs throughout the song, but it's especially audible in that moment because all the other instrumentation is missing.

Now what happened was that I had just put the clip randomly on the timeline, and I had put it exactly where it is now, but hadn't really properly edited that part yet. So as I was replaying the part just before it, I let it go on, the clip came up, and the clicky sound from the song happened to be exactly synchronized with the character clicking her tongue, and, well, you can imagine my reaction. I almost had a heart attack. I could see very clearly that the source audio was not on the timeline, so my first conclusion was that this vid must be fucking haunted. Actually, that's still my conclusion. So there you go, I hope you enjoyed my haunted vid!
