why does this always happen?

I watched the first season of Westworld recently, and now I have 3 vid ideas, one of which would be vid-big-bangable (I'm just gonna make that a verb). Problem is that they're all pretty similar concept-wise, so doing all three would probably be overkill, but I like all of them and I can't decide. Aaah!

I mean I guess I could just make all 3 for VBB and be like "Robots are better than humans - the miniseries", and just have the repetition be part of the theme or w/e?

I say start all of them and see which works, either you'll end up with three vids, or, more likely in my experience, you'll stall out on most of them and whatever shakes out will shake out.

That's a pretty good idea! That way I'd also only have to do the clipping once. Hopefully. I might try it!

How similar concept-wise? Could be, if you asked someone who's seen season 2, they could tell you if that'll give you more material to work with for one of them?

I've been going back and forth on whether I should just watch season 2. On the one hand, more vidding material. On the other hand, I've only heard bad things about it! I was pretty satisfied with how season 1 ended, so my first instinct was to stop there.

But honestly if I'm gonna be making vids I will probably end up watching it anyways. I can never escape clip FOMO. And especially if I do the really long one (the song is 6:30 minutes), I'll probably be thankful for the extra material.

They're similar in the way that they're all kind of basic, "theme of the show = theme of the vid" ideas. I'm not sure yet if I can focus any of them down to be less broad and more character-centric. So I guess it depends on whether the theme changes significantly in season 2?

hmmm.

Maybe make one (not the epic one), and then watch season 2. That way, even if the theme is the same, they'll explore it in different ways and you get to vary your visuals? *shrug*

Also a good idea. Hmm... I think for now I'm just gonna start clipping season 1 and see where that takes me.
